We believe in Triune God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and the Gospel as the power of God for the salvation of all who believe. We believe Jesus Christ is the Word of God incarnate, through whom everything was made and through whose life, death, and resurrection God fashions a new creation. We believe the canonical Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the inspired and inerrant Word of God. We believe God’s plan for human sexuality is that it is to be expressed only in a monogamous relationship between one man and one woman within the framework of marriage
We are a diverse community of believers who come from all walks of life. We welcome people of all ages, races, and backgrounds, and we strive to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone.

Sunday Worship is in-person and live-streamed.
Welcome to New Light Sunday Worship. When you come to New Light, you are coming home. That is because we see everyone that comes through the door as our family.
We welcome all people to join us to worship our God. Our worship service is contemporary with solid Bible based teaching. After the worship service, hang around and get to know us and let us get acquainted with you as well.
Our sanctuary is on the upper level. Enter the building from the front entrance, Go up the spiral stairs and the sanctuary is to your right.
The gospels are a precious text that gives us insight into God's heart for people by showing us the life of Jesus. The Gospel of Luke is the third book in the New Testament and has a different purpose in writing his book. Luke was a doctor, and you can see his care for individuals as he tells the many stories of Jesus having radical interactions with those deemed by society to be 'outsiders'. The Gospel of Luke challenges us to set aside our preconceived notions, pick up our cross and follow Jesus into a hurting and broken world.
Children – 10:00 AM
In Children Sunday school, we go through a short lesson, worship together, and learn how to memorize God’s word and applies it to yours and your child’s life today!
Youth – 10:15 AM
Have you ever wondered where can God be in the midst of evil times and rulers? The Book of Judges is such a story. Written after the greatest generation in Israel had come and conquered the promised land, their faith does not carry on to their children. The Book of Judges shows us what it looks like when people refuse to worship God on his terms and when we put ourselves in God's place. We meet in the youth room at 10:15 am on Sunday Mornings.
Adults – 10:15 AM
We are on a verse by verse study of 1 & 2 Timothy. Join us for an informal conversation on apostle Paul’s instructions on leading a church to growth.
All Friday groups are in person. Adults can also join by Zoom. Please use Contact Us to request meeting information
Youth Group
Maybe you are someone raised within the church or someone starting a journey with God. Friday nights are a time when we look at who God is and what he expects from us. We cover a wide array of topics, yet all come back to giving us a full view of who God is, who we are, and how we can better follow Jesus in all areas of our lives! We meet on Friday Evening at 7:30 pm at the church.
Young Adults & High School
Our Young Adult Group, which consist of Senior High Aged (Grade 9-12), College, and Young Career age demographic meets on Friday Nights at 7:30 pm. We go through various books of the Bible, and enjoy fellowshipping through prayer, worship, and often times a movie or board game after group!
Adults Group
If you are not in the two groups above, you belong to the Adults Group. We come together to lift up each other in prayer and God’s word. We alternate between sermon series and book of the Bible. Our format is informal and encourages questions, discussions, and sharing of life experiences.
We believe giving is an act of worship to God. When we give, we recognize that our resources have been given to us by God, to be used to proclaim His glory and further His Kingdom. If you feel called to support our ministry, please click below to make a one-time or recurring gift, as you are able.
Let us know if you have any feedback, are interested in joining a fellowship, have a prayer request, or simply interested in learning more about NLCC. Tell us a little about yourself and we'll be sure to plug you in with the right people and groups!
